Team Toth hoping for a change in Portimao after difficult race day in UK

The Hungarian squad expecting to receive new parts for the Nilox Portuguese Round.

After the successful double point-scoring race day in Imola, Team Toth BMW did not make it into the top-15 at Donington Park as both riders Imre Toth Jr and Gabor Rizmayer struggled to keep the pace of their rivals in both UK encounters. The Hungarian squad now hopes for a big step forward in Portimao as they expect to receive new parts by BMW.

“Hopefully we will get new parts from BMW for Portimao” said Imre Toth Jr “as in Donington Park we were unable to improve our lap times compared to previous races. Our goal is to bridge the gap to the top-15 and make sure we are more competitive but with the package we’ve got at the moment it is kind of impossible to do so. Our season will start in Portugal and we hope to score more points from then on and to avoid crashing so much.”
