Savadori will not change approach

Superstock 1000 leader insists no change of style required.

With a 34-point lead in the FIM Superstock 1000 Cup, Lorenzo Savadori looks odds-on favourite with just two races to go in the 2015 season. With this in mind, the Italian aims to maintain his style and make no changes ahead of Jerez.

“Continue in the same way,” the Nuova M2 Racing rider maintained when asked what the approach will be for Jerez and the Magny-Cours finale.

“I am working on a project for Aprilia and, step-by-step, I want to keep improving the bike and keep pushing all season. Maybe I will have a holiday after Misano, but not for long because I have an important meeting in the summer, but at the moment I can’t say anything about next year because I’m focused on this season.”

Superstock 1000 will be back in action at Jerez in Spain on Sunday 20 September, ahead of the season-ending race meeting at Magny-Cours in France two weeks later.
