Swiss rider secures top four finish in hectic WorldSSP race

Title contender Randy Krummenacher (BARDHAL Evans Bros. WorldSSP Team) has left Donington Park content with a top four finish, as he comes off the back of two tough races in the FIM Supersport World Championship.

Battling against a virus, the Swiss rider was aiming to make the best out of a bad situation throughout a tough weekend. With the British weather throwing up a lot of issues, every session provided different challenges meaning securing the perfect bike set up was a challenge. Qualifying in fourth position, he was prepared for the battle and was up and fighting in the early laps of the race. Facing some hairy moments out on track, Krummenacher was able to secure a top four position finish and sits just eight points off the top of the standings.

Explaining his weekend, he begins: “It was a really rough race like in Imola, bur I felt a bit better physically after the virus I had. Luckily, I finished in fourth, I can be happy and now I try to improve my physical shape and I will try to be in strong in Brno. The championship fight I still tight, after missing out in two races with some bad results, I need to attack in Brno.”
