American star Gerloff: "I learnt a tonne" in Phillip Island season opener

American rookie Garrett Gerloff discusses his Phillip Island weekend and more in an interview with worldbsk.com

 

The Phillip Island Grand Prix circuit can be a challenging one, particularly for a rookie in MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship. Garrett Gerloff (GRT Yamaha WorldSBK Junior Team) experienced this with the start of the 2020 season Down Under.

The American rider, who says he is 100% fit after an incident that ruled him out of the Tissot Superpole Race and Race 2 said: “I felt like I learned a tonne on Saturday and I was really looking forward to getting another opportunity to race with those guys, learn something new and improve my position. That was one of my aims.”
