WorldSSP rider to continue recovering at home from his Magny-Cours crash

Five days after suffering a frightening accident in the FIM Supersport World Championship race at Magny-Cours, Federico Fuligni (MV Agusta Reparto Corse) has finally been discharged from Nevers Hospital, where he was admitted and had remained since last Sunday.

The Italian rider, aged 24, will now return home where he can continue his recovery and begin rehab.

Fuligni was involved in a three-rider incident in Lap 1 at Magny-Cours, which also saw crashes for Nacho Calero (Orelac Racing VerdNatura) and Maximilien Bau (GMT94 YAMAHA). The race was immediately red-flagged, with Fuligni taken to the medical centre and, later, Nevers hospital.
