Jezek moves up to Supersport with SMS Racing
Following an accord signed in November and first tests a few days ago at the Valencia circuit, the SMS Racing Team has confirmed it will be moving up into World Supersport for the 2011 season with Ondrej Jezek, the Czech rider who has raced in the Superstock 1000 FIM Cup over the past few seasons.
The 21-year-old from Brno had a difficult 2010 season, finishing 19th overall with a best result of 11th at Valencia on an MS Racing Aprilia RSV4.
Jezek and SMS Racing will take part in their debut year in World Supersport with a Honda CBR 600RR, and are next scheduled to test at Motorland Aragon in January.
