Aragon will be a new WSBK adventure
In 2011 the Superbike World Championship takes another step into the future, as the impressive new facility of Motorland Aragon in northern Spain will appear on the calendar for the first time, at the start of a three-year contract between the track and Infront Motor Sports.

The Aragon race will take place on Sunday 19th June, and it is scheduled to be the seventh round of the year. Some of the top WSBK teams are heading there for testing thia week, and they will find a challenging 5.077km circuit to ride on, designed and executed to the highest possible standards.

The circuit has already been used for numerous events, including a MotoGP weekend, and the track and its facilities have drawn great praise from all quarters. It features a wide variety of corner designs and there are several places where passes can be put in.

But maybe its main features worth noting are its changes of elevation, with some relatively steep climbs and drops, plus a vast number of blind corners. From the air the track looks relatively simple, from the tarmac, it is anything but. These aspects will make the track a tricky one in the early laps of testing, for many of the top teams who will run there from 27 to 29 October.
