Xaus helps to promote WSB in Russia

Former WSB racer and multiple winner Ruben Xaus recently made a promotional appearance at the 2012 Moto Park Exhibition in Moscow, which took place in early April.


The ever-popular Spaniard, who after leaving World Superbike, now holds a new role as team manager for the Research & Development Department of Rimini bike manufacturer Bimota, was present at the stand of Russian monthly magazine Motoreview together with Vladimir Leonov's Yakhnich Motorsport WSS Yamaha R6 machine, on which the talented Russian recently finished sixth at the Imola round.


Yakhnich Motorsport is the general promoter of the World Superbike round in Russia, the first edition of which will take place on 24-26 August at the new Moscow Raceway track.


Xaus was overwhelmed by the numerous visitors at the exhibition, and spent a lot of time signing autographs and posing for photos, helping to boost the popularity of the championship in Russia.


As part of the promotion of World Superbike, Xaus will also give several master classes in Russia, which will be organized by Motoreview magazine and which will take place in July and at the start of August on the Kazan Ring racetrack.
