Gabor Rizmayer ended up 14th at the end of an action filled second race at Jerez after finishing just outside the top-15 in the first encounter at Jerez. Returning Imre Toth Jr. was 18th in race one and failed to make it to the finish line in the second outing of the day due to a minor technical problem.

Rizmayer, who replaced the injured Peter Sebestyen at Jerez, had scored points in Laguna Seca too on Imre Toth Jr.'s full spec BMW Superbike machine. He got to grips with the EVO bike quite quickly and had some great battles with both Team Hero EBR riders Geoff May and Aaron Yates.

“Both races were very hard, and I fought a lot, especially with the EBR riders. Geoff and Aaron have pushed myself and the bike to the limit. We had some luck with the retirements for sure, but that is racing. I really hope we can, and will improve at Magny-Cours, because our speed in the first few laps are still too slow, yet I'm very happy with the day overall,” said Gabor Rizmayer.”

A broken chain ruined Imre Toth Jr.'s return, he had to retire during the second race on the 11th lap. Imre made his return to racing after suffering an injury at Misano and also managed be part of Saturday’s Tissot-Superpole session for the first time since Phillip Island.

“Even before the first race, we knew the start was going to be difficult because of an electrical problem. I lost too many time on the first two laps, I tried my best but the bike slipped around the track. The traction control was active in every corner. I ran the whole race without grip at all. I got very tired during the first race, and only just hoped to finish the second, but the chain on the bike snapped and we had to call it a day. We will come back stronger at Magny Cours,” said Imre Toth Jr.
