Rob Hartog in STK600 as full-timer with MtM Kawasaki

The Dutch Supersport Champion steps up to the international stage.

After becoming the Dutch Supersport champion, Rob Hartog will make his full season debut in the European Superstock 600 championship. The 22-year old Dutchman will make the switch to Belgium MtM Racing Team on a Kawasaki ZX-6R. Rob is nephew of Wil Hartog, who in 1977 at Assen became the first Dutchman to win a 500GP race. Wil Hartog went on to win a total of five races in the world championship.

Hartog has already entered the Superstock 600 class with a wildcard, which has not been entirely without merit. Hartog ended up 4th in the last year’s race in Assen. Therefore this feels a logical step and he is delighted that he has been given the chance from Kawasaki and the MtM Racing Team to make this possible.

The European Superstock 600 championship will count eight events, starting with a double–header in Aragon at the 12th of April.
