The MV Agusta President Giovanni Castiglioni and Alex Yakhnich, president of Yakhnich Motorsport have signed an agreement that allows MV Agusta Motor S.p.A. to take over all World Superbike and Supersport activities.

“We reached great goals so far with the F3 in World Supersport and we are still investing in the development of the F4 in the eni FIM Sueprbike World Championship for 2015, when the new Technical Rules will be introduced” said Giovanni Castiglioni. “We want to increase our efforts and investments in racing to get even better results next year in both championships.”

Starting from the Riviera di Rimini Round currently underway at Misano, MV Agusta will be managing directly all the sporting activities through its Reparto Corse.

The increasing involvement of MV Agusta into racing goes through the agreement reached with the riders. The Italian company has signed a contract with both Claudio Corti and Jules Cluzel also for 2015, whilst the one with Vladimir Leonov has come to an end.

Cluzel will be joined at Misano by wildcard Massimo Roccoli, who has recently won the latest Italian Championship races astride the MV Agusta F3.
