Cluzel: "We can be very strong at Portimao"

The Frenchman is looking forward to the race weekend.

Jules Cluzel (MV Agusta Reparto Corse) is getting ready to face the eighth round of the World Supersport season with the aim of further narrowing the gap to Michael van der Mark (Pata Honda World Supersport), who is currently leading the standings with a 28 point margin on the Frenchman.

“I’m really looking forward to go back to Portimao” Jules Cluzel commented. “It’s one of my favourite tracks but I think it’s the same for everyone, as it has a unique layout and it is very enjoyable to ride. I rode for the first time there in 2012 and I was the quickest already in the first session! I also won the race and last year I didn’t do too bad in the Superbike class, so I’m really looking forward to the weekend.”

“We already tested here last winter and we could feel that the bike was quite strong” he added. “The track is though quite bumpy and this might be a problem, because the F3 is very reactive on the bumps. If we manage to fix this, I think we will be really strong.”
