The Ducati Superbike duo welcomed the fans at Misano.

The eighth annual World Ducati Week took place last weekend involving stars past and present as well as a huge number of Ducati fans and motorcycle enthusiasts, who packed the Misano World Circuit “Marco Simoncelli” for three days of fun and celebration of the iconic Italian brand.

Ducati Superbike Team’s Davide Giugliano and Chaz Davies starred the event, along with former Ducati WSBK champions Carl Fogarty, Troy Bayliss and Carlos Checa.

Davide Giugliano: “This wasn’t my first WDW ever as I also took part in the 2012 edition. I have to admit that returning to this event as factory Ducati rider was even more exciting. WDW is an amazing event that brings together all motorcycle racing fans and especially the Ducati ones. Here professional riders, amateurs and motorcyclists have one great passion in common, the Borgo Panigale’s Red Bikes. This is the reason why the World Ducati Week is such an incredible event.”

Chaz Davies: “It’s been my first ever World Ducati Week, a phenomenal one. I would never have imagined to see so many Ducatis all together in the same place. Friday’s parade was a nice surprise. I thought it was restricted only to riders and management, so I was thrilled to see the almost endless line of bikes. This was one of the many emotions felt during these days at the WDW and I hope I can be there next year, too.”
