About

The gird’s sole Andorran rider entered into the world of JuniorGP in 2012 at just 14 years old. From there, he continued in JuniorGP while making consistent replacement and challenge rider appearances in WorldSSP in 2017, Moto2, and MotoE from 2018 to 2021, when he began racing concurrently in the Moto2 European Championship and MotoE from 2021 to 2022. 2023 saw Cardelus place runner up in the Moto2 European Championship, earning a win and five podiums, earning him a grid spot in 2024’s Moto2™ season. 2025 brought with it more change for Cardelus, who competed with World Supersport as a part of Orelac Racing VerdNatura atop their Ducati Panigale V2. He was in the fight around the top ten for most of the season, only missing the points on six occasions, three of those being crashes. In 2026, the Andorran is back and is competing with a new outfit, the Cerba Yamaha Racing Team where he will look to break back into the battle at the front.
