French rider Valentin Debise has a lot of experience in WorldSSP, acting as a replacement rider and a wildcard on several occasions. A full campaign in 2012, and a total of 24 races between then and 2022, showed his ability to arrive and perform, as he took a best result of fourth at Magny-Cours on home soil. Debise also has two WorldSBK rounds under his belt as a replacement rider. In 2023, GMT94 Yamaha gave him a full-time opportunity after his incredible domestic success and claimed two podiums on home soil. He remained with Yamaha in 2024, but with the Evan Bros. outfit. Debise’s seventh WorldSSP season saw him take another step in his WorldSSP career, finishing with career highs in the Riders’ Championship (4^th) and number of podiums (7).2025 was the first season of his WorldSSP career in which he races atop a Ducati, riding for Renzi Corse, and the veteran French rider looked comfortable as could be on the new machinery. He finished fifth in the Riders’ Championship, including his not only his first win, but a second victory to boot. He will take on 2026 atop a new manufacturer for him, as he re-joins Evan Bros Racing Team as they will collaborate for the first time with Chinese manufacturer ZXMOTO.
