Stefano Manzi made his debut in WorldSBK in 2026 with GRT Yamaha after winning the previous year’s WorldSSP title in dominant fashion with Ten Kate Racing. He’ll be alongside Remy Gardner for his first year in WorldSBK as he looks to make a name for himself on the Yamaha R1.

Yamaha (2026-)

Manzi’s first foray into WorldSBK came in 2026, although he did test the Yamaha R1 at Misano halfway through the season and also again at the end of the year, showing very quick adaptation to the big bike. What can he achieve in his rookie season?

WorldSSP

Manzi had four full seasons in WorldSSP prior to his move to WorldSBK and was a title contender in three of them after switching to Yamaha. At the end of 2024, he won the last race with the Yamaha R6 as an incredible era was brought to an end in fitting fashion, before winning the first race with the Yamaha R9 in 2025. 11 wins and 20 podiums from 24 races propelled him to the Championship after finishing as runner-up twice.

Before WorldSBK

Between 2017 and 2021, he was a full-time Moto2 rider, while he competed in Moto3 for one full-time campaign in 2016. In 2014 and 2015, Manzi finished third in the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup.
