The grid’s sole Danish rider returns for his sixth season appearing in WorldSSP after a breakout 2025 campaign. Prior to last season, his career best season was in 2018, he earned an 18th-place finish with two season-best 9th places. One of which atop a Ducati and another atop a Yamaha, the latter being the manufacturer which he has raced the majority of his WorldSSP career with. In 2025, Jespersen raced with Ecosantagata Althea Racing Team, alongside Leonardo Taccini as Jespersen made his return to the Ducati Panigale V2. Despite a slow start to the campaign, Jespersen struck at Balaton Park, where he landed a P6 to open the weekend, and improved on it to land a second place in Race 2; whereas his best result all season up to that point had been just a P11 at Donington Park. The podium was his only one of the season, however with it Jespersen proved his capability of giving the more established names at the front a run for their money. At the end of the season, it was announced that in 2026, Jespersen would be changing garages, and the Danish rider will attack this season fittingly draped in the red and white of EAB Racing Team.
