Aldi Mahendra has burst onto the world racing scene in the last two seasons, in 2023 he placed second in the FIM Yamaha BLU CRU World Cup and earned a spot in the 2023 WorldSSP300 Championship. He made his two-race appearance in Round 5 of the WorldSSP300 Championship at the Autodrom Most, stunning the grid as he won Race 2. His performance earned him a spot on the 2024 World Supersport 300 grid, an opportunity he seized by winning eight podiums and winning the WorldSSP300 title. 2025 saw another step forward for Mahendra, but it was not without difficulty. The Indonesian rider started out strong, earning several top ten finishes in the opening four rounds, however after round eight, Mahendra suffered an injury which ended up ruling him out of competition for the rest of the season. 2026 will feature Mahendra with a new team, AS Racing Team, and if he can stay healthy, he has all the talent to be a force this season.
