About

One of the highest-profile new names to join the WorldSSP field this offseason, Spanish 29-year-old Albert Arenas joins from Moto2, where he landed in eighth place in the 2025 Moto2 campaign. The Girona native started racing back in 2011 back in the European 125cc Championship and European Moto3 Championship later in 2012. From there, he has filled his resume with an impressive career in Moto3, racking up eight podiums, four wins, and a World Championship trophy earned in 2020 across his five years in the category. 2021 spelled a move up to Moto2 where he didn’t quite reach the same heights as in Moto3, however now with a fresh start in the WorldSSP field, his competitors would be unwise to count him out.
