STATS ROUND-UP: Bulega matches Razgatlioglu for all-time win streak, surpasses Davies for Ducati victories

The #11 continues to make history in WorldSBK after another hat-trick last time out at Assen

The MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship tackled the iconic TT Circuit Assen for the Pirelli Dutch Round at the weekend. Three epic races took place as Nicolo Bulega (Aruba.it Racing - Ducati) claimed a hard-fought hat-trick, but what milestones were hit for the WorldSBK field in the Netherlands?

900 – Sam Lowes' (ELF Marc VDS Racing Team) P3 finish in Race 2 was Great Britain’s 900th WorldSBK podium.

146/156 – Out of a possible 156 laps this season, Bulega has led 146; a record after three rounds in the three-race format. Teammate Iker Lecuona has led 5, Yari Montella (Barni Spark Racing Team) has led 3 and Sam Lowes has led 2.

29/31/32 – Bulega took his 29th WorldSBK win in Race 2. Two more victories and he’ll be tied with Colin Edwards, while three more will put him level with Chaz Davies.

29/28 – Of Bulega’s 29 wins, all were with Ducati. He’s now ahead of Davies, who recorded 28 for the Italian manufacturer. His next target is Troy Bayliss, with 52.

22 – The #11 has taken 22 consecutive podium finishes. The all-time record is 25, set by Colin Edwards and Toprak Razgatlioglu. His next target is the second-longest streak – 24, set by Jonathan Rea (Honda HRC).

15 – For the first time in 15 years, no Honda rider scored points in a weekend. The last time it happened was at Magny-Cours in 2011. Rea was the Japanese manufacturer’s only representative that weekend, and he did not finish both races, crashing out of Race 1 and having a technical problem in Race 2. This time, Rea was the only Honda rider who raced after Somkiat Chantra was declared unfit, but finished 17th, 17th, and 19th.

13 – Bulega’s Race 2 win means his streak of consecutive wins is 13, the joint-longest with Toprak Razgatlioglu (set in both 2024 and 2025). His chance to break the record comes at Balaton Park, where he did not win last year.

9/11 – Bulega has won the first nine races of the season, the best start since Alvaro Bautista (Barni Spark Racing Team) won the first 11 races of the 2019 season.

9 – With Sam Lowes taking his first podium of the year at Assen, nine riders have now stood on the rostrum this year; matching last year’s tally.

9 – With nine wins in 2026, ‘Bulegas’ is only five behind his 2025 tally: 14.

8 – Sam Lowes recorded his eighth WorldSBK podium without winning a race, the fifth-most in WorldSBK history. The record is 14, held by Davide Giugliano.

6 – Lecuona has recorded six consecutive P2 finishes, the second-longest streak. The longest belongs to Rea, with 10.

3 – Bulega has claimed the first three poles of the season, the first rider to do so since Rea in 2021; that year, the #65 claimed the first eight poles of the year.

3 – After Race 1, Miguel Oliveira (ROKiT BMW Motorrad WorldSBK Team) became the first Portuguese rider to be third in the Riders’ Championship standings. After Race 2, he sits in fourth.
