Razgatlioglu leads the pack in a wet Sunday Warm Up session as Vickers impresses in P3 and Bulega slips to P8
The front three were the only riders down into the 1’52s range on the first day of wet riding at Balaton Park Circuit
The MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship field took to the grid first to uncork track action for a historic day in motorsport history. At the first WorldSBK Hungarian Round in 35 years, Razgatlioglu maintained his form to top the timesheet at Balaton again. He led Sam Lowes (ELF Marc VDS Racing Team), who has been fast all weekend, and Ryan Vickers, who impressed in the wet conditions ahead of Sunday’s pair of races
#1 P1: Razgatlioglu flexes his wet weather prowess
The defending Champion landed atop the timesheets with the fastest time of 1’52.225, outpacing Sam Lowes by a quarter of a second on Sunday morning. Ryan Vickers (Motocorsa Racing) flexed his BSB rainy conditions experience in Hungary at Balaton Park, as he outpaced Ducati heavy hitters like Nicolo Bulega (Aruba.it Racing - Ducati,) who finished back in P8. The British rookie finished with a time of 1’52.846s.
PETRUCCI OUTPACES TITLE RIVALS: The #9 landed P4 ahead of Locatelli and Bulega
Danilo Petrucci's (Barni Spark Racing Team) 1’53.286s fastest time was enough to see him land P4 in the Warm Up session. Andrea Locatelli (Pata Maxus Yamaha) finished top Italian in P6 with his 1’53.491s time.
