The WorldSBK grid look to end Cremona with a bang as all top six riders found themselves separated by less than seven tenths of a second

The MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship’s Nicolo Bulega (Aruba.it Racing - Ducati) maintained his pace from yesterday which saw him top both the Tissot Superpole and Race 1 to top Sunday’s opening Warm-Up session. He was followed across the line in by the same riders and in the same order as in Saturday’s Superpole, with Sam Lowes (ELF Marc VDS Racing Team) in P2 and Toprak Razgatlioglu (ROKiT BMW Motorrad WorldSBK Team in P3.

Bulega earned his first win on Italian soil yesterday afternoon in Race 1, and if this Warm-Up session is any indication, he may be on pace to go for his second hat-trick of the year, the next test will be at 11:00 a.m. (local time UTC +2) in the Tissot Superpole Race. Lowes in P2 continued his strong recent form a quarter of a second behind the Italian, and by his pace, he looks like he is feeling better than yesterday where he was reportedly feeling sick with the flu. just over half a second behind ‘Bulegas’ in P3, Toprak will look to spoil the show for the hometown hero and win back points on the current Riders’ Championship leader.

In P4, Axel Bassani (bimota by Kawasaki Racing Team) represented Bimota well with his 1’28.967s time. Just 0.077s behind Bassani, Danilo Petrucci (Barni Spark Racing Team) was once again in the hunt in P5 via his 1’28.993s lap, 2024’s Top Independent rider will look to find the spark he had last season at Cremona to top the podium once again. Not to be left ouby his teammate nor his brother, Alex Lowes (bimota by Kawasaki Racing Team) landed himself a top six spot in the Warm-Up with a time of 1’29.070s, he will look to keep this pace to land a better result than yesterday’s Race 1 P11
