BOX SET: WorldSBK’s journey to 1000 races in eight special videos

From Fogarty and Rea’s eras, the first winner and much more, take a trip through WorldSBK’s history

The MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship reached a landmark 1000 races during the Hungarian Round, with the newest venue to host the Championship, Balaton Park Circuit, celebrating the milestone. In the lead up to the weekend, eight videos were created to mark the occasion. It took fans on a journey through time, starting with Davide Tardozzi discussing how he won the first-ever WorldSBK race at Donington Park in 1988, legends explaining their first memory and two eras belonging to Carl Fogarty and Jonathan Rea (Pata Maxus Yamaha) which defined their respective periods.
