The Spanish rider crashed early on in the 15-minute session but was able to respond with the fastest time in the closing stages
The MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship Warm Up session was a dramatic affair as Sunday’s track action in the Motul Indonesian Round at the Pertamina Mandalika International Street Circuit. Reigning Champion Alvaro Bautista (Aruba.it Racing – Ducati) was fastest by less than a tenth despite a crash early on in the session before setting the fastest time of the session on his first completed timed lap right at the end of the session.

Andrea Locatelli (Pata Yamaha Prometeon WorldSBK) took third spot, 0.279s slower than Locatelli, as he goes in search for a third podium in three races.
