The MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship is back in action with the Pirelli Aragon Round opening the season. Located in Alcañiz, Spain, MotorLand Aragon will host the action for WorldSBK, WorldSSP and WorldSSP300 classes to kick-off the new campaign with everything to play for. Action on Friday kicks off at 09:45 (Local Time, GMT+2) with WorldSBK and WorldSSP following shortly afterwards. The order is the same in the afternoon too with WorldSSP300 kicking off the afternoon action at 14:15 followed by WorldSBK and WorldSSP. Saturday features a brand-new schedule with no FP3 sessions for WorldSSP or WorldSSP300. Action begins at 09:00 with WorldSBK Free Practice 3 before WorldSSP300’s Tissot Superpole session at 09:45, before WorldSSP and WorldSBK take to the track to set their grid positions. Racing kicks off with the first WorldSSP300 race at 12:45, while the first WorldSBK race starts at 14:00 and WorldSSP at 15:15. On Sunday, the three Warm Up sessions kick off at 09:00 with WorldSBK with WorldSSP and WorldSSP300 following on after, before racing kicks off at 11:00 with the Tissot Superpole Race. Race 2 for WorldSSP is at 12:30 before WorldSBK’s third race of the weekend at 14:00 and WorldSSP300 at 15:15.
