The Championship-clinching moment for Max Biaggi’s first WorldSBK title will be streamed on Sunday, giving you the WorldSBK fix you’ve craved

The 2010 FIM Superbike World Championship featured some of the best racing in the history of the Championship, with the closest finish, a new Champion and a host of new race winners. However, it was the crowning of the new Champion that really was the cherry on top of the cake, as Max Biaggi rode to a fifth World Title and his first in World Superbike during Race 2 at Imola. Now, 10 years later, you can relive that moment as it happened, as WorldSBK readies to premiere the race across Facebook and YouTube on Sunday, 26th April at 7pm CET.

In a dramatic race where Tom Sykes, Lorenzo Lanzi, Leon Haslam, Carlos Checa and Max Biaggi all fought for supremacy, misfortune for ‘Pocket Rocket’ Haslam left the ‘Roman Emperor’ to take the crown, giving Aprilia their first World Championship in WorldSBK. Close fights, big battles and drama of the highest order, this is a World Superbike classic you will not want to miss and is one that ended Italy’s wait for a WorldSBK Champion.

You can also enjoy other classic races that we’ve premiered on our YouTube Channel. The all-time classic of Imola in 2002 and Race 2 is ready and waiting, as is Tom Sykes’ title-clinching moment from Jerez Race 1, 2013. Neil Hodgson’s first win in front of 100,000 home fans at Donington Park in 2000 in Race 2 is also there, whilst the latest one to enjoy is the Battle of Buriram from Race 2 in 2016, when Tom Sykes defeated Jonathan Rea in an epic last lap shootout. There’s also the awesomeness of Race 1 at Assen in 2009, with a head-to-head final lap dogfight between Ben Spies and Noriyuki Haga.
