2018 WorldSSP300 Champion Ana Carrasco took part in an on-track training session alongside MotoGP™, Moto2™ and Moto3™ riders

After some riders were able to make their return to the track earlier in the week, Spanish rider Ana Carrasco (Kawasaki Provec WorldSSP300) was also able to hit the track again with a training session at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. 2018 FIM Supersport World Championship title winner Carrasco was joined by MotoGP™ star Alex Rins plus Moto2™ rider Xavi Vierge and Moto3™ rider Gabriel Rodrigo.

Carrasco trained on her Kawasaki Ninja 400 which she uses in WorldSSP300 and completed 35 laps during the day. Carrasco said: “I was quite happy today because it was a long time without riding a bike, it’s so good to be back and get back all the feelings.

“I feel really good. I thought it would be more difficult after almost three months without riding. I tried to keep fit for three months to be ready for this moment so I can ride today. The feelings are improving lap after lap. Today the most important thing is to get all the feeling back.”
