Milwaukee Aprilia boss hopes to unveil the team’s plans for next season in the coming days

With two rounds left on the MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship calendar, teams and riders are starting to open up on their plans for next season, several question marks still hovering over the 2019 grid. One of the biggest is what will happen with Milwaukee Aprilia, a fixture on the WorldSBK grid for the past two seasons.

In an interview with Moto.it, Shaun Muir confirms that SMR (Shaun Muir Racing) will be a part of next year’s championship, and reveals that a decision will be made “in a few days” on the specifications of their 2019 venture, including riders and machinery.

With Aprilia, Ducati and BMW bikes currently options for the SMR team – and each bike conditioning which riders are brought onboard – this decision could be a potential gamechanger for the 2019 championship.
