CIA Landlord Insurance Honda Team Manager, Simon Buckmaster said: “We welcome Hiromichi to CIA Landlord Insurance Honda to challenge in the European Supersport Championship.  This will add another dimension to our team and although he might face a difficult start with not being able to test we have a good base setting for all our bikes.  We look forward to the challenge with him and hope to be challenging on two title fronts in 2017.”

Hiromichi said: “I’m very happy to join CIA Landlord Insurance Honda which is a very competitive and trustworthy team.  I see a lot of strong riders being there.  I’m looking forward to racing in World Supersport which is a very interesting and exciting Championship.  I can’t wait for the race at Aragon. Most of the tracks will be new to me so I’m going to learn and give my best effort at every weekend.  I very much appreciate my sponsor, friends and family, they support me in many ways so without them I couldn’t make this step.”

Hiromichi will make his first outing with CIA Landlord Insurance Honda at Aragon in Spain on 31st March to 2nd April 2017.
