WIL Sport Announced Title Sponsor of European Junior Cup
Support series gets new Title Sponsor with focus on career development
The European Junior Cup, support class to the MOTUL FIM Superbike World championship, races at eight of the European rounds of the Championship and is open to 14 to 21 year old male and 14 to 24 year old female competitors. With the young riders competing on identically prepared Honda CBR 650F machinery, the EJC is regularly one of the most exciting and close fought races of the weekend.
2016 will be the fourth season of the European Junior Cup, powered by Honda and will see the appointment of WIL Sport Management as Title Sponsor. WIL Sport is a New Zealand based company headed by Phil and Cheryl London of Taupo. For over fifteen years WIL Sport has actively assisted more than two hundred athletes from around the globe to access the necessary resources to enable them to reach their goals. With a team of expert mentors including former Superbike World Champion Fred Merkel and featuring an established development programme, WIL Sport´s sponsorship of the European Junior Cup fits perfectly with a series conceived to help young racers further their careers.
