Brian Gillen explains the work done on the F4 RR to make it a full World Superbike-spec bike

Brian Gillen, MV Reparto Corse principal, is the man supervising the new WSBK project of the Italian brand, who returns to international racing with factory involvement after signing a multiple-year partnership with Yakhnich Motorsport. In this exclusive video provided by WorldSBK.com Gillen explains the work done on the F4 RR to turn the bike into a proper World Superbike machine.

"For the first time we are officially entering the World Superbike and Supersport championships. The F4 RR derives from the production bike, which is a good base to start because we have already titanium connecting rods in the standard series production bike and then we adapted the rest of the bike to WSBK rules. With the new rules this year we can intervene quite heavily to bring up power in the engine, we worked very, very hard on the electronics and we adapted the Magneti Marelli Marvel system to the motorcycle with the full ride-by-wire throttle body […] ."
