Scassa undergoes successful surgery
The Italian rider suffered a femur neck injury while testing at Mugello
Following a positive Italian Round at Imola last weekend, Team Pedercini Kawasaki's took part in a MotoGP test at Mugello yesterday. Unfortunately, the 30 year old from Arezzo crashed heavily at the Tuscan track, sustaining a femur neck fracture. Scassa already endured a difficult start of the season, as he fractured his pelvis whilst testing at Phillip Island last February.
The Italian rider was taken to the Borgo San Lorenzo hospital and in the evening he underwent a successful surgery.
A medical update on Scassa's conditions is expected soon.
