The Thai rider is aiming for a successful rookie season.

Core PTR Honda Ratthapark Wilairot made his debut in the Supersport World Championship last month at Phillip Island, and despite a crash that ruled him out of the race he was able to deliver a good performancein his first ever racing weekend in the series. Wilairot still feels there is a lot of room for improvement and he is confident on getting closer to the front runners as the season progresses.

"First of all I would like to say thank you to PTR for the opportunity to race here in World Supersport" said Ratthapark Wilairot."I've been looking for a ride since last year's Malaysian Grand Prix. Finally I was able to find it here and I'm happy to be in this series. I already tried the CBR600RR with my brother back in Thailand, he races in the AsiaRoad RacingChampionship and so we practised together. I still need to get used to the bike and spend more time on it, plus I also have to learn new tracks. The team's experience will help me a lot through this rookie season and to get near the front of the field."
