Luca Scassa quite happy with sixth place
The rider from Tuscany was able to stay with front runners in the early part of the race, but then started to lose stability at the front of his ZX-6R as the laps went by and had to make the most out of the situation up to the chequered flag.
"It was very hot compared to all the other days" said Luca Scassa. "I felt the heat a lot so I am happy I finished the race in sixth. It was quite good in the race and I started well and in the first two or three laps I had a very good feeling but as the fuel load started to go down I began to lose some stability at the front. I lost touch with the top few guys and two other riders passed me like I was not there on the straight. We have to work on the front suspension a bit now. We improved the rear set-up a lot and I am happy about that."
