Farewell to Roberto Nosetto

A historic character of the motor racing world, Roberto Nosetto, who was race director for Dorna for many years, has died at his home in Gallipoli.

From Piedmont in Italy, Nosetto was a great professional who was loved for the thoroughness in his work. Nosetto was a great figure at Dorna (MotoGP race director), having also served as Imola's circuit director and as sporting director of Ferrari.

Inseparable from his wife Renata (former Dorna and SBK press officer), Roberto spent the last years of his life at his home in Gallipoli before passing away on February 21, 2013.

As a dynamic, modern and daring person, his last experience in the world of racing was in 2004 when Flammini entrusted him with the technical rules of the Superstars International Series.

Dorna Group wishes to say a heartfelt goodbye for the last time to a great character that gave so much to the world of motorsport.
