Michael Rohrer RIP
Infront Motor Sports is deeply saddened to hear the news of the sudden death of the German journalist Michael Rohrer on Thursday in Stuttgart.

Michael Rohrer's career as a motorsports journalist began with MOTORSPORT aktuell in Zurich before Motor-Presse moved to Stuttgart in March 1988. Throughout his career as a journalist "Rohri", as he was affectionately known, worked for the group's leading sector titles, PS and Motorrad.

His fine sense of good stories was appreciated by many readers and colleagues, and in the last few years, he reported on all the top motorcycle championships - MotoGP, SBK and Motocross - and had been an esteemed permanent media representative in World Superbike for many a season.

Current Motorrad Chief Editor Michael Pfeiffer said: "I am personally extremely saddened by Michael's passing away, he was not only a perfect journalist, he was a friend after more than 20 years of working together..." and Pfeiffer's declaration is shared by the Infront Motor Sports press office.

Michael Rohrer was 52 years old. He is survived by his wife Christina and a ten-year-old son Daniel, to whom Infront Motor Sports wishes to pass on its sincerest condolences.
