Ten Kate riders get dry track time in France
Electronics for engine and traction control, suspension settings and swingarms were evaluated by the Superbike riders, with Jonathan Rea the fastest, on 1'39.7 (just inside the race lap record set on race tyres) with Ryuichi Kiyonari on a 1'39.9 and Carlos Checa 1'40.2. The team elected to test before racing so they could get clear time without the distraction of competition and qualifying, before they head to Misano.
The Supersport pairing of Kenan Sofuoglu and Andrew Pitt secured times of 1'42.8 and 1'43.1 respectively.
