American PJ Jacobsen will continue in the Supersport World Championship for 2017. Jacobsen made his first mark on the racing world in 2006 as he was crowned USGPRU 125GP champion in 2006, but started racing when he was just three years old. Making a solid impression in America, taking over 30 National Championships in his home country, he then made the move to British Championships. Stepping onto the podium many times in the competitive British Superstock 1000 series, as well as British Supersport he then got a full time ride in the British Superbike series in 2013.
Moving across to the WorldSBK paddock from 2014, Jacobsen has never looked back. Runner-up in World Supersport in 2015 and fourth in 2016 he will hope to be challenging for more podiums with his new team – MV Agusta Reparto Corse.
