Hungarian Peter Sebestyen arrived to the WorldSBK paddock in 2013 after first having learnt his craft in the Red Bull Rookies Cup and the Spanish and German 125 championships. After moving up to the 125 World Championship in 2010, Sebestyen didn’t find much success before he moved to the European Junior Cup, recording a best finish of 2nd in Magny-Cours.
In 2014 he first competed in a full year of WorldSBK with Team Toth, riding a BMW S1000 RR EVO. Finding the top class a challenge, Sebestyen moved to STK1000 for 2015 with Team Pedercini, riding a Kawasaki ZX-10R. During 2017 season he had a tough season with the Yamaha and will now head to ESS with SSP HUNGARY RACING, where he will hope to put up a solid fight in the competitive class.
