At the age of 18, Glenn van Straalen has been one of the first talent grown in the WorldSSP300 Championship to step up to WorldSSP. Taking his first steps in national championships, the Dutchman became 2017 KTM RC Cup champion and made his debut the same year in WorldSSP300 as wild card for his home round at Assen. He finished 16th overall after impressing with an extraordinary comeback. In 2018 he was able to secure a second place on the podium in his second WorldSSP300 experience. Thanks to this stunning result he was selected to substitute Anthony West for the final two rounds of WorldSSP in 2018. For 2019, the Dutch rider will remain with the EAB Racing Team and he will race full-time in the series aboard a Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R.
