Imola prepares for Superbike return with official presentation
The Enzo & Dino Ferrari Circuit at Imola was today the scene for the official presentation of the 12th round of the Hannspree FIM Superbike World Championship on September 27th, a date that marks the return of top-class bike racing to the legendary Italian circuit.

Formula Imola, the company that runs the Italian circuit, has made a major effort to organize the Superbike round, which will be endorsed by the top TV celebrity showgirl, Argentinean-born Belen Rodriguez.

The Mayor of Imola Daniele Manca added: "With the arrival of Superbike we have reached one of our aims of relaunching the circuit after years of being excluded from major motor sports events. We have made investments to modernize and upgrade the circuit with new infrastructures as well as the track itself. I am particularly delighted about the return of World Superbike because this race defines the target profile of the people who interest us. We want to bring back the general public to the autodromo, fill the stands and the curves with fans, and re-establish the rapport with the city and what better way to do that than Superbike".

Finally it was the turn of Belen Rodriguez, the Argentinean model and showgirl admitting that she had no great familiarity with the world of bikes, but declaring that she was curious to experience the thrills of a weekend of Superbike racing.
