Busy testing times begin
For many leading lights in the WSBK championship the following few days will be spent on the racetracks in the Iberian peninsula, making preparations for the 2011 season.
BMW will have its official team (with Troy Corser and Leon Haslam), plus new boys BMW Motorrad Italia (James Toseland and Ayrton Badovini), out in force at Portimao today and tomorrow.
Portimao also plays host to Aprilia Pata (Noriyuki Haga), Aprilia's Test Team, Ten Kate Honda (Jonathan Rea and Ruben Xaus), Suzuki Alstare (Michel Fabrizio) and Supersonic Ducati (Maxime Berger).
At Almeria in Spain, the official Kawasaki Superbike and Supersport teams will be testing, with Joan Lascorz having his first ride on the KRT Superbike.
