Weather hampers progress for Fabrizio

"Conditions were not good here at all and there was no real possibility of ever going out on slick tyres," declared Fabrizio. "There were times when it looked as if the track would dry out and then it rained again! It was not so bad when the track was soaking wet because then I could use full wet tyres and find out about the grip level - which is not so bad. I did actually put some slicks on at one stage, but as soon as I did that, it began to rain and so we had to take them off and put on wets again!"

Michel said he was satisfied with the direction things were taking with the team and especially the four-cylinder bike, which he has not ridden for four seasons. "Even though conditions were not good, I was able to understand more about the bike and also get more used to my team. Now I will have a bit of break, spend some time with my family and then look forward to my next test, next year. I wish you all the best for Christmas and I'll see you again in the New Year."
