Kawasaki shows off full race 2011 Ninja ZX-10R
Having been tested only in private up to this point, the new Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R Superbike World Championship race bike broke cover at the recent Magny-Cours tests.

Piloted by Tom Sykes and Katsuaki Fujiwara, the new machines flew around the Magny-Cours circuit on the dry second day of testing, with Sykes setting good times despite only having one day of dry track time.

Sykes said, "I am happy with this test because our bike is really new and we are up against bikes with two and three years of development. Overall, on our race run this morning I did some 1'39 laps and low 1'40s, where in the race on the 2010 bike I only achieved one 1'39 and the rest were in high 1'40s. Losing the first day was no help to us but we are already fast."
