But in recent races, since Miller in fact, Sylvain has been the one on the move up. At Brno he had a fabulous fourth in race one, then a peculiar seventh in race two. Still strong scores; particularly in this highly competitive WSBK season.
Said Sylvain of his Brno raceday, "I felt good and I enjoyed the first race more than the second. Just like Misano, we have been struggling getting our bike to work with these new tyres. We've been having problems setting up the bike with these tyres, but when we use the older tyres we have much less problems."
Guintoli is now in a three way tie with Leon Camier, and Cal Crutchlow, all of them on 138 points, but the Frenchman is ranked 11th overall because he has not scored a podium finish yet.
