The intention of Troy and his factory squad is to have him back in action for real at Silverstone for round 10, on August 1, but before that he is scheduled to have a test at Mugello. "I hope by the end of the week to be able to do some light training for the top half of my body," said the Aussie. "We plan to test at Mugello on Tuesday before Silverstone for a final check to make sure I am physically strong enough."
Corser remembers everything about his heavy fall, and knows that despite his pain and discomfort he was fortunate to have escaped relatively unhurt. "I remember everything about the crash, even though it was a pretty heavy one," said Troy. "I highsided and went up in the air as far as I could go whilst still holding on to the bars! All my safety equipment - helmet, boots and gloves all did their job and I probably would've walked away from the crash if it hadn't been for the bike hitting me."
