Foret aims to turn season round at Misano
The 2010 season began well enough for French former champion Fabien Foret, with two top five finishes at Phillip Island and Portimao.

From the Spanish Round onwards at Valencia however things have been a bit more of an uphill struggle. After a tenth place at the Ricardo Tormo track, Foret then had three zeros on his slate before scoring another tenth place at Miller.

"We had a few problems with chattering at Miller that conditioned the entire weekend," explained Foret, "and to try and solve the problem for the race we opted to use a softer tyre, with the aim of having as much grip as possible at least in the early stages. It proved to be the right choice but as the laps went by I was unable to stay on the same pace as the leaders".

The 36 year-old from Angouleme concentrated on getting his Kawasaki to the flag without taking any extra risks, just so he could score a few points and focus with confidence on the next round.

"It was important to score some points after the last three races which we didn't finish, just to stay in touch in the championship. Now it's time to look ahead to Misano, where I hope to do much better."
