Five Supersport wild-cards for Utah Round
Five riders have been chosen as wild-card entrants for the FIM Supersport World Championship event at Miller Motorsports Park this coming weekend.

Californian Melissa Paris (photo) will be making her second appearance as a World Supersport wild card at Miller Motorsports Park. She was the fastest wild card qualifier in last year's event, and will again ride the No. 13 Yamaha for MPH Racing. She is also competing as a full-time rider this year in the AMA Pro Racing Daytona SportBike class.

Another Californian Tyler Odom will be the youngest wild card entrant at the age of 17. Despite his young age, he has quite a bit of experience, having competed in the AMA Pro Racing Daytona SportBike and SuperSport classes. He will ride the No. 46 Honda for the well-known Erion Racing team.

Dylon Husband, of Salt Lake City, will enjoy hometown support as he attempts the most prestigious start of his career. He is a veteran club racer who has competed part-time in AMA Pro Racing, and will ride the No. 56 Kawasaki for his own team, H-n-H Racing.

Virginian Chip Yates also raced as a wild card at Miller Motorsports Park last year but was hampered by an injured shoulder. Riding the No. 89 Suzuki for Swigz.com Pro Racing, Yates is also busy developing an electric-powered sport bike that he will race domestically and internationally this season.

Wisconsin's Jason Farrell races part-time in AMA Pro Racing and is a regular semi-pro in CCS/ASRA racing. Having recently set the 600cc track record at Heartland Park Raceway in Kansas, he attracted the attention of Pirelli, who have helped him mount an effort to obtain a wild card spot and the biggest opportunity of his career.
