Camier impressed by Aprilia experience despite his bad luck
Leon Camier had two good rides on the Aprilia factory machine at Magny-Cours, but in particular race two saw the current BSB champion attack some big names in WSB with real aplomb.

His luck was out overall, when his machine quit both times, but his first WSB Aprilia weekend was quietly impressive. He will get another chance to run at the final round in Portimao.

"We were getting faster the longer we went on," said Camier after race two. "My lap time at the end were good, quicker than the group in front, and I think if I could have got to them I think I had the pace to maybe even get to fourth position. But that was not going to happen, because we were a little bit too far back off the start obviously, qualifying 16th was no good. But we made progress and were catching the group in front, and for sure I can definitely see the potential of the bike. Two non-finishes were a bit of a frustration, but to get to ride the Aprilia and get so we how good it can be is very positive. Where we are struggling a bit in the faster corners so for next time we at least know which direction we have to go in."
