WSBK teams well headed in 2014 after Jerez test

A week after the eni FIM World Superbike Championship season finale at Jerez, several riders and teams came back to the Spanish track to continue their work for 2014 pre-season work. The two-day test held yesterday and today was also first chance of seeing some riders with their new bikes and teams.

2013 World Superbike Champion Tom Sykes and Loris Baz (Kawasaki Racing Team) were on track to bring further the development of their respective ZX-10R, mainly focussing on suspension settings. The Frenchman, who tested last week at Jerez as well, showed to be in even better form after the back injury that forced him out of the last rounds of the season.

New signings for Ducati Davide Giugliano and Chaz Davies made their debut on board the factory 1199 Panigale R, with the aim of getting to grips with the bike and start the winter testing programme.

FIXI Crescent Suzuki went to Jerez with Leon Camier and 2013 BSB champion Alex Lowes. Alex is also the twin brother of 2013 World Supersport Champion Sam Lowes.
